I’ve been very busy the past week or so trying to finish the book I’ve been writing and preparing content for a new website. More about the latter in the future. I’m now waiting to fly out to the UK today for a long awaited holiday. I’ll also be visiting North Wales and seeing friends from both North Wales Recovery Communities (NWRC) and Eternal Media. Really looking forward to it.
I’ll also be seeing friends from ARC Fitness in Derry/Londonderry in Northern Ireland and will be attending the Recovery Walk there on 27 September. During my visit there last year, I was encouraged to come back for the Walk and also visit Donegal. That will also happen.
I will be giving a talk at 19.00-21.00 on 12 September in Penrhyn Hall, the Council building in Bangor. Most of the talk will be different to the one I gave at Bwyd Da Bangor last year. You can see the film made by Eternal Media of that talk here. The second part of that talk focused on the Aboriginal child artists of Carrolup, which I won’t be talking about this time.
Whilst in the UK, I will also catch up with my children and grandchildren and meet my new granddaughter Evelyn, who was born at the beginning of last month. Can’t wait to meet her! And see the rest of my family as well!
As this trip is mainly holiday, I won’t be posting very much on Recovery Voices over the next seven weeks.
Wishing you all well.
